marriage. >> i'm terry mcsweeney in for eric thomas this morning. >> i'm kristen sze. >> our top story, an all night search continues on the bay this morning for a missing wind surfer. the 62-year-old woman was missing in foster city, here is nick smith. >> reporter: this is the command center that started last night the search continues this morning. i want you to take a look at video that was shot last night when the search begin. kathy kenton was last seen about 400 yards offshore b the area known as wind surf park of san mateo county. helicopters and boats are actively searching the waters where she was last spotted. her husband says she was due back from wind surfing at 5:30 but he became concerned when she did not come back on time. he immediately called 911. the coastguard was notified and

since that time multiple agencies have launched a nonstop search effort. >> she does have a wet suit, that is positive. she has a board that is something she can float on and hopefully sta stay out of the water. we're doing everything we can. >> reporter: now the coastguard joined very you skru crews in the search last night and it continues into this morning. shoreline search from the san francisco point to the bridge is also under way. she is 5'6" and 130 pounds and she is an experienced wind surfer. they are hoping that the weather conditions today aid in the search effort. alameda county has pulled out the search but the other agencies continue in the search efforts. friends of a petaluma man

who were among seven missing fishermen are raising money to continue the search. he ways board the chartered fishing boat when it sang off of baja california. they called off the search last week. his friends have raised $1,000 so far and that would be used to hire a private deep water dive team. >> they plan to hold a meeting in bay vie l view district to ease tensions. police went on the offensive to discredit claims by witnesses that the shooting was unjustified. lilian kim reports. >> reporter: grief greg huhr played video that shows a gun on the ground that they say belongs to the suspect. >> they released you'd that picks up ten shots.

it bolsters their claims that the suspect shot first. [ gun shots ] >> there is a time of 1.9 seconds between the first shot and the 2nd shot. it is that time period we believe that the first shot was fired by the suspect and the officers were that position to identify and respond accordingly to being freird upon. >> reporter: the suspect 19-year-old kenneth harding was parolee from washington state. the whole thing started when he ran away from them at a routine inspection. but many remain unconvinced that police acted unappropriate canly. >> if he had the gun on him that is fine but it almost looks like mass murder to people out on the streets. >> there are three separated investigations to the shooting and the police marble is asking

for calm. >> i don't like people jump to go conclusions. that is what we're trying to bring light. >> the police chief and other officials will hosted a townhall meeting to discuss the shooting. it's scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on wednesday. a former santa clara police officer's corruption trial begins with jury selection today. he lost his job as a police officer after admitting he conducted records checked and passed on information to a hells angers jell. he indicted that he provided information to to pay off a debt. his attorney says the case is overblown. he will be tied separately in a shird th ird strike case. oakland city council is considering a plan to increase the number of medical marijuana

dispensaries that are license frd four to eight. oakland tribune reports that the legal firm to license regulate large scale medicinal potted farms. it includes amending the ordinance to create a system where the dispensaries will only get their marijuana from the city's pot farms. last year state and federal authorities warned current measure could open up city officials to arrests by federal drug agents. >> reporter: aclu is joining the court battle to block a measure that would ban male circumcision in san francisco. the measure would make it younger than 18 a misdemeanor. there would be no religious exemptions despite the fact that jews and muslims consider it part of their religion. in a court brief. aclu argues it would violate a state law that bars cities

let's talk about what is going on temperature-wise and show you it's pretty mild this morning thanks to those clouds hanging around. we're in the 50s, fremont, san jose, los gatos, livermore, antioch, everybody else in the upper 50s. fog sand around santa rosa. same thing for watsonville and salinas. temperatures in the 50s and 60s. gilroy warmer at 63 degrees. mostly sunny today and warming trend will continue in our inland areas, clouds around the bay and coast will kind of keep you the same as yesterday. clouds will only be at the coast tonight. warmer weather tomorrow and we'll just kind of hold near average next week. you can see warmer weather in the mid to latter parts of next week. no heat wave, not here. everybody else will be talking about that. 5:00 in the morning, you can see the clouds around the bay shore and into the north bay and not quite making into the east bay

valleys. by 10:00, 11:00, gone, all the way back to the coast and even during the afternoon hours, northwesterly wind will push the clouds away from the coast, especially in the north bay, keeping you in the 50s, around the bay 70s and 80s inland. as close we'll get to 80s inland los gatos, low 80s and everybody else in the mid-80s. along the peninsula, 70 in millbrae, stretching to 80 as we head into the south bay and loss always the low on i had's, downtown san francisco in the upper 50s and check out 101, start at 70 in sausalito and work up to 79 in santa rosa. look at the 80s from sonoma, napa, clearlake, ukiah and cloverdale. over on the east bay shore, low to mid 7's all the way from castro valley. low to upper 80s from 82 in dublin. same temperatures, gilroy and hollister, low to mid-70s santa cruz.
